MP Zimmer Recognizes Local Volunteer Mike Landucci

OTTAWA –Bob Zimmer, MP for Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies recognizes the efforts of local volunteer and friend, Mike Landucci.

“In recognition of his long-time volunteer service to the Fort St. John sports community, the Fort St. John Senior Flyers Hockey Club recently honoured his memory at a pre-season North Peace Hockey League game against the Dawson Creek Canucks. North Peace referees are honouring Mike this year by wearing the ML patch I am wearing today,” said MP Zimmer as he referred to the crest on his jacket. “As one of our community volunteers, as a neighbor and as a friend to all you encountered, not to mention the Christmas Eve visits to our house as Santa Clause, you will be missed. May you Rest in Peace Mike.”

Mike Landucci was recognized by the Fort St. John Flyers at the game on October 21 and the Fort St. John referees will be wearing the ML patch on their right shoulders for the remainder of the season.
