MP Zimmer Hosts Passport Clinic in Fort Nelson

FORT NELSON – Bob Zimmer, Member of Parliament for Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies, held a passport clinic in Fort Nelson yesterday.

“It was great to visit Fort Nelson and assist those who needed it with their passport applications,” said Mr. Zimmer. “It was also a good way for me to meet and speak with constituents.”

Residents were able to get assistance with completing their passport application forms, as well as getting a final check before submitting the application to Passport Canada. Residents were also given the option of having Mr. Zimmer’s office courier the completed passport applications directly to Passport Canada on their behalf.

Mr. Zimmer also took the opportunity to meet with local council members as well as attend the Rotary luncheon. “I was pleased to be able to update residents on issues that are important to them, such as softwood lumber and BC LNG, overall it was a very successful day.”

Residents who were unable to attend the clinic can contact the constituency office in Fort St. John at 250-787-1192 or the constituency office in Prince George at 250-561-7982 for assistance with their passport applications.
