MP Zimmer Brings Greetings at the CNC Regional Skills Competition and Trades Day

PRINCE GEORGE – Bob Zimmer, Member of Parliament for Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies, brought greetings at the CNC Regional Skills Competition and Trades Day after spending the day touring the facility and getting a glimpse of the competition.

“It was great to see so many young people from across the region show off their skills in such a variety of different trades,” said Mr. Zimmer. “Having received my Red Seal in Carpentry, I know the importance of trades to the future success of our economy and it is nice to see so many students taking an interest in a variety of these fields. I would like to congratulate all the winners and wish them continued success.” “I also want to extend a special thanks to the countless organizers, especially Frank Rossi and CNC President Henry Reiser for making trades a priority at the College of New Caledonia.”

The CNC Regional Skills Competition and Trades Day is an annual event that brings together competitors from elementary schools, high schools, and CNC campuses in the Central Interior region of BC to participate in a number of different competitions in their skill.
